The Company:
Our client a UK based refining and marketing company, have interests in a number of facilities in the United Kingdom, employing around 1000 people throughout the UK and over 33000 worldwide. They have had their presence on Teesside for over 30 years, processing and storing crude oil ready for shipment along with being an established supplier of bulk fuels, including LPG, to the commercial, aviation and marine industries.

The Role:
We have a new temporary maternity leave position for an Oil Accounts Analyst.

Preparing the cargo documentation for the terminal, doing the calculations and ensuring that the ships are scheduled correctly.

This is a clerical position, requiring attention to detail and with maths ability.


Reporting to the Oil Accounts Supervisor

Primary responsibilities:

Working for the Teesside Storage and Transportation area as an Oil Accounts Analyst

Key responsibilities.

Performing the daily production/mass balance calculations for Teesside
Preparing cargo documentation for exports.
Vetting vessels for terminal requirements.
Scheduling product exports.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills.
High degree of numeracy and problem solving skills.
Good competency with standard software packages.
Good organisational skills and team player.
Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of oil industry/ Bulk cargo exports.
Experience in mass balance/ production calculation
