The Role:
Job Summary:

The On the Job Training (OJT) Training Manager is responsible for the planning, preparation, implementation, coordination and coaching of the OJT for Border Guard personnel performing their daily work on the Airbus Defence and Space (Airbus DS) System Integrated Engineering (SIE) C2 Border Security System.

The OJT Training Manager is responsible for the management of the OJT Teams.

The OJT Training Manager cooperates with the training organisations and regional establishment of the customer, suppliers and partners.

Practical experience
Strong and long-lasting (10 years+) experience in:
• Technical training/instruction
• Police or military operational/technical projects
• Border Security Operations.
• Managerial experience

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Police or military experience/education.
Formal training qualifications, at post-graduate level or equivalent experience (ITOL, C&G, NVQ, EdExcel).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Operational/Managerial experience within Security force organizations.
Practical Experience in Border Security operations.
On-the-Job training, coaching or training in large organizations.
Operational experience conducting/managing surveillance and intelligence processes.
Border Security, Coast Guard or policing operations, including the operational decision-making in the operations (command) centres’.
Technical understanding of complex software/hardware and C2 systems.
Working within a customer oriented environment.
Understanding of organizational processes (training processes desirable)
Understanding of performance and quality assurance support
Proficient in computer literacy and skills
Knowledge of military tactics, specifically in planning and training.
Experience in instructing/teaching in local environment.
Expertise with technical border security systems.
