The Role:
MISSION

To manage all aspects of the SURF package during fabrication.
To be in charge of supervising dedicated construction activities (FLET, ITA, Installation Aid, structures) for the proper execution of SURF package process.
To be the construction contact point for the various contractors involved in the project process.
To supervise daily works and reporting to package management.
To report any discrepancies, delay, or changes to the SURF team and submit corrective action plans as required for the proper execution of the activities under his responsibility.

ACTIVITIES

1. To ensure that all construction activities are performed safely and efficiently in line with company objectives.
2. To manage all internal and external construction interfaces..
3. To complete the work with due regard to safety of personnel and company assets while still meeting project key dates.
4. To ensure that safety remains the main priority on the construction site at all times.
5. To identify deficiencies and develop solutions to identified construction problems.
6. To ensure that the construction yards are provided with suitable information in line with requirements (technical and schedule) and to troubleshoot technical problems that may affect construction
7. To identify critical activities for the progress of works and potential bottlenecks.
8. To help to prepare or to prepare reports for the company, partners, or authorities as required.
9. To control construction progress and schedule
10. To participate in controls of fabrication, conformity, tests.


Onshore construction activities for SURF package on project is medium size and fast track with high local content requirement. The onshore construction manager shall be versatile to cover all different aspects of an onshore construction: HSE, QA/QC, schedule, interfaces, etc…

Context and environment: Major EPC contracts include FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, plus others for LLI’s, tie-ins, drilling, surveys preparation of field operations and studies, integration in existing installation, SIMOPS.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications: Degree in engineering. (Original Certificate must be provided for visa process)

Professional experience: Minimum 5 years in the Oil and Gas production Projects
Experience of Construction Management in FPSO /FPU Project context: Minimum 3 years

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of French language would be an advantage.
