The Company:
Our client operates in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
•Assures that risk management including the completion of risk assessments are performed in accordance with out client's Risk Management Processes.
•Oversee the implementation of the our client's EHS Management System to include but not limited to: Permit to Work System, Lock-out/Tag-out System.
•Conducts safety inductions for all visitors and new employees.
•Leads and/or participate in an Incident Investigation, root cause analysis and recommending remedial actions.
•Leads internal EHS audits and 3rd party EHS compliance inspections/audits.
•Performs environmental audits to ISO 14001 standards.
•Ensures that all work being performed on any out client's premises or areas of responsibility is done so in a safe manner in accordance with the our client's procedures.
•Liaise with Base Management and Department Heads on all EHS matters.
•Supports the implementation of the STOP Behavioral Safety Program.
•Carries out in-house EHS training as and where required.
•Chairperson for all our client's monthly safety meetings
•Ensures that all KPIs are managed as defined by our client's Management team
•Ensures that EHS reporting is carried out in accordance with our client's requirements
•Supports the implementation and maintenance of the ISO14001 program

Financial Responsibility:
Budget level accountability to be defined & agreed within EHS & Corporate Budget Guidelines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A formal qualification in EHS (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate/NVQ3 in Occupational Health and Safety) NEBOSH Dip/ NVQ4 Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent preferred.
Certified Auditor ISO9001, 14001 and 18001

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Passion for EHS
Competent with Microsoft computer packages
Knowledge of operational and technical EHS issues
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a multi cultural work environment
High personal integrity
Flexible approach and able to work under pressure.
Positive and enthusiastic
Committed to high EHS standards.
Good communicator with open and constructive styles
Able to influence EHS at all levels.
