The Company:
Our client is a leading EPCM company who specialise in providing asset support solutions across Australia and South East Asia including engineering, operations, maintenance and upgrades of existing facilities both onshore and offshore.

The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an Onshore Planner to join this expanding planning team on a contract basis.

The role will involve the following:

• Liaise with both the JV Implementation Team and the client and sub-contractor personnel in the development of maintenance and 21 day plans.
• Develop and monitor fully resourced plans for Capital Projects, Operations & Maintenance and Asset Integrity Management activities. Prepare and submit progress reports with “S” curves.
• Collation and guidance of the required inputs and planning entry criteria from all the departmental sponsors and focal points, including the client and the JV sub-contractors.
• Monitor and report anomalies in the actual POB levels against planned levels / activities and business objectives. Provide recovery plans / scenarios as required.
• Advise and assist all users and sponsors of the plan, including Process Owners. Ensure plan distribution includes all activity sponsors, supply chain, logistics and service providers. Ensure that all above can interpret the plan and understand their responsibilities associated with the plan.
• Control and monitor the data input to SAP. This means ensuring that the data quality in SAP is maintained to the agreed standards at all times. This will simplify the planning / scheduling process and will also provide for a higher level of planning stability.
• Provide leadership in the implementation of all HSE initiatives.
• Participate in hazard risk assessments as required.
• Promote and enforce company and sub-contractor compliance with the organisations HSE requirements.
• Communicate HSE issues to line management and personnel as required.
• Attend and participate in company and sub-contractor HSE meetings, as required.
• Review sub-contractor HSE activities and performance and provide meaningful feedback.
• Participate in HAZID workshops as required.
• Provide input into incident investigations as required.
• Provide positive participation into audits and ensure items requiring corrective action are followed up to completion.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Skilful in Primavera P6 Planning Software
• Proven ability to create and amend graphical and tabular reports to suit specific requirements
• Proven ability to export and import data files
• Proven knowledge of the techniques required to manage project resources, allocation, levelling, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP/R3 PM, MM and PS modules
• Must be able to demonstrate via proven experience a sound knowledge in MS Office Applications (such as Word, Access and Excel)
