The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
This role reports directly to the TAR Manager in support of the Integrity Manager’s Delivery.

Working within the TAR team, the Onshore Inspection Technical Engineer will provide technical support to enable timely execution of major pressure system inspection and integrity activities to be undertaken during FPSO turnarounds.

Delivering the inspection & test plans (ITP’s), workpacks and contingency plans for vessel and pipework inspection to be undertaken during FPSO turnarounds.:
• Responsible for the development of detailed inspection work packs in line with the written scheme of examination (WSE). This shall include the provision of detailed inspection drawings and pre-populating the inspection database with unique inspection test points.
• Responsible for working with vendors to develop specific inspection and repair activities.
• Responsible for working with vendors to develop and put in place contingency plans for repairs and remedial activities in the event of finding damage during inspection.
Demonstrate leadership and compliance with Angola’s HSSE expectations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of inspection execution in a live hydrocarbon processing environment.
- Familiar with the selection, suitability and application of NDT techniques.
- Conversant with isometric drawings, pressure equipment general arrangement drawings and piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs).
- Familiar with the use of computerised maintenance management systems (e.g. MAXIMO) and inspection databases (e.g. ACET).
- Able to work with vendors and third party contractors.
- Good written and oral English language skills.
- Physically fit and able to comply with the requirements for working offshore Angola

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Familiar with material degradation mechanisms typically experienced in an offshore hydrocarbon processing facility.
- Awareness of pressure system design codes and basic fitness for service assessments.
- Experience of developing repair plans for vessels and pipework.
