The Role:
The Onsite Support Analyst is accountable for the support and management of the onsite infrastructure (Personal computing, Printing Services, Meeting room technology) for the UK E&P Business Unit. The ‘End Result’ is to ensure effectively supported and managed IT services that meet the business requirements.

Primary Functions:
•Delivery of Onsite Infrastructure Services to the E&P UKbusiness unit
•Responds to tickets entered in Help Desk system by theService Desk team within set SLAs
•Carry out installation, movement and recovery of PC andrelated hardware and software
•Update asset databases accurately.
•Undertake project work as required
•Work with the various disciplines of IT to ensure servicesmeet business needs
•Create and manage team documentation.
•Provide out of hours support via an on-call rota
•If requested, travel to other onshore and offshoreinstallations and drilling rigs to perform support andinstallation duties.
•Provide current use and projected demand of OnsiteInfrastructure to the internal IT Business Analysts
•Review the range of existing solutions available and presentoptions and recommendations to the business on which onesto use
•Provide status updates to peers and the customer withregards to issues being worked.
•Provide onsite physical support for other IT infrastructuregroups as appropriate.
•Provides additional elevated support to
oEmergency Response Room

Critical Skills:
•Core Technical Experience
•Previous experience working with Microsoft XP andWindows 7 client computing in a corporate Microsoftenvironment
•Experience in oil and gas related Company
•Has understanding and technical support experience ofMS Office Suite 2010+
•Whilst following established processes, work co-operatively with the other members of the IT group andwith other groups as necessary.
•Exposure to general application support
•Has understanding and experience of
•MFD and printing hardware
•Polycom Video Conferencingtechnologies
•iPhone support
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or otherIT/IS related major or satisfactory equivalent.
•Personal Characteristics
•Service and customer focused
•Demonstrates the ability to sustain a workload of severaltasks simultaneously demonstrating good timemanagement skills.
•Demonstrate and maintain excellent organising skills.
•Be creative in crafting new solutions and enhancingexisting solutions to the service that the team delivers.
•Good Communication Skills
•Capable of working with minimal supervision.
•Other Requirements
•Be on call for at least one week in five.
•Willingness to travel offshore as required
