The Company:
A multinational utility company its principal activity is the supply of electricity and gas to businesses and consumers in the United Kingdom, North America and Africa. It is the largest supplier of gas to domestic customers in the UK, and one of the largest suppliers of electricity. It is also active in the exploration and production of natural gas; electricity generation; and the provision of household services.

The Role:
Accountabilities:

1. PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES
Process assigned requisitions and take care of the follow-up, request and evaluate quotations from preferred suppliers, create purchase orders and obtain approvals, so that products and services are ordered at the best contractual terms and conditions. Maintains good contact with end users during the entire Procurement Process. Instruct end users in creating a requisition when required, to ensure compliance with system requirements. All this in order to guarantee the availability of products /services as needed and in accordance with Supply Chain and Procurement Policies and Procedures.
2. PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Enter and check data on the Procurement Management System for requisitions assigned created. Act as a custodian for that specific parts of the system.

3. REPORTS
Create and issue overview reports, according to specified format and procedures. This to report on the status of Procurement activities and support decision-making for actions. Notify irregularities to stakeholders and Team Lead. Monitor follow up actions as necessary to ensure products and services are available when needed and to protect operations.
4. SPECIFIC SUPPORT
Support in specific Supply Chain activities, such as in tender evaluations, performance feedback and other assignments. This in order to contribute to timely and accurate delivery of procurement activities.
5. HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
Comply with HSEQ procedures, rules and regulations and contribute to building awareness to other personnel in- and outside the department in order to maintain and continuously improve a safe and healthy working environment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
– Vocational level
– Minimum of 1-3 years of buyer experience, preferably in the E&P industry
– NEVI MIL qualification
– SAP knowledge
– Sound interpersonal, commercial, negotiation, communication, and software skills
