The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
 Working with the Quality Manager to develop continuous improvement plans to ensure that each programme is delivered ontime and with measured impact on the business.
 Identifying, scoping and delivering a portfolio of Continuous Improvement projects – this includes production effectiveness and efficiency.
 Investigate and help resolve any operational problems affecting production.
 Work with Quality Team leaders, manufacturing managers to ensure that projects are clearly defined, and take a lead role in defining and ensuring that a reliable data collection process is established.
 You will be responsible for reporting project progress and potential savings into the Strategy Monitoring Tool (SMT) across our 3 UK manufacturing sites.
 Work with all relevant functions (supply chain, manufacturing, product management, production engineering, service, etc) to ensure that the priorities are understood and that capability exist across all relevant functions to deliver on time.
 Expedite and manage all functions to ensure relevant actions are completed on time.
 Developing a mass pool of change agents by providing training on basic to intermediate problem solving toolkits (i.e. 5 Whys, Fishbone, CEDAC etc)
 Work with the manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that process and product specifications are maintained at the highest levels.
 Drive and facilitate advance manufacturing techniques (Automations)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 HND/Degree in relevant subject - Business, Engineering (preferably Electro-Mechanical) or Quality.
 3 – 5 years experience of multi functional project management and hands on experience on implementing problem solving tools within a manufacturing environment (i.e. 5S, CEDAC, SMED, Kaizen Event, Poka Yoke, VSM etc)
 Lean manufacturing / automation experience will be an advantage
 Experience of working in a multi-site.
 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
 Strong IT skills – including intermediate level (MS Office Suite),
