The Company:
A Leading Global Organisation involved in turnkey contracts; delivering projects for high rise buildings, power plants and the Oil & Gas Industries (Candidates with Malaysian Work Permits only)

The Role:

• Monitors operations for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are followed. Oversees technical staff, such as maintenance or engineering, and hires and trains personnel.
• May be required to meet certain certifications in the field.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• He is responsible for the health and welfare of all employees, contractors and the surrounding community.
• He needs to ensure that all statutory regulations are complied with.
• He is responsible for ensuring that this management group have clearly defined and aligned goals and objectives and that these are clearly communicated to all staff members and implemented.
• Responsible for coordinating all 3rd party contracts for services required on the O&M business.
• The O&M Manager is responsible for the control of both the annual budgets for the division and the overall profitability.
• He is responsible for short term and long term planning on the division.
• He is responsible of Risk Management and Mitigations of the O&M division.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Power Plant or Oil & Gas related industries
• Extensive experience in an operational role and successful implementation of activities/projects:
• Provide the technical / operational leadership of projects and business activities.
• Good understanding of financial and commercial aspects of operations management
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and managing diverse teams
• Highly energized and the ability to motivate with a high level of commitment
• Ability to priorities, demonstrating first class organizational skills and time management skill
