The Role:
A vacancy has arisen for an Operations & Maintenance Technician based at Beckton Energy CHiP plant, reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor. Please be advised this is 24 month fixed term contract.

The Role:
The Operations & Maintenance Technician works as a member of the Beckton team & is responsible for both
safe, efficient operations and planning, co-ordinating & improving maintenance standards at the CHiP
meeting business and statutory needs.

Duties:
As required completion of the following activities:
 Prepare risk assessments & method statements.
 Work Order Production
 Work Specification development
 Plant database development and management

Produce planned/unplanned maintenance schedules/plans, eg. Weekly schedules, outages, look ahead plans
including:
 Liaise with the Beckton team to develop the weekly schedule.
 Ensure scheduling of all PM’s so that they are completed within the specified due date.
 Develop strategies to ensure all PM’s are completed in a timely manner.
 Develop work lists for scheduling purposes so that every WO is including in its relevant work list.
 Develop work lists & job plans for outages, projects & emerging work.
 Ensure required spares are available before scheduling work for execution.
 Check completed Inspection Reports and raising an Work Orders that arise.

Minimum Requirements:
 Relevant experience and qualifications.
 Contributing to continuous process /production/ operational environments.
 First line maintenance.
 Following procedures, systems & processes.
 Working to targets.
 Working a shift pattern.
 Supporting planning & outage management.
