The Role:
Fircroft have been engaged to assist a well know engineering, asset management and maintenance outsourced company who work across diverse sectors which include but not limited to; Oil & Gas, rail and power.

They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Auditor to join them in 2016 to be part of a new and exciting division that they are creating which has a goal to provide a “service of excellence” across all business units, supporting the internal stakeholders, Project Manager and Tenders team ensuring newly created processes are effectively streamlined across the business.

This is an exciting time to join the business and take a lead within the newly created division. The role has a long-term career plan and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be promoted in to a senior role throughout the successful growth and completion of set targets.

The Operations Auditor will have experience working across different sectors and had extensive exposure to the full project lifecycle, which includes the internal tender process. The role will require a strong understanding in commercial, financial and operational compliance audits to allow an effective collaboration with senior management and the audit committee

The role will be supporting the business on a national level and will require monthly travel to various offices supporting various commercial divisions, executing audits and appraising the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems currently in place. The role will require excellent communication skills due to dealing with all levels of internal personnel.

• Degree within engineer quantity surveying or similar
• Project management experience including estimating and cost forecasting
• Understanding of internal processing procedures
• Auditing experience

Personal Characteristics
• The ability to travel 1 / 2 times per month and at short notice
• Effective communication skills verbal and written
• Strong analytical / quantitative skills
