The Company:
Our Client is an international Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, schedule and execute all field operations to ensure that oil and gas production targets are safely met
• Achieve such production targets within the budgeted expenditures, by managing the interaction of the operational departments, including drilling, field services and supply chain
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to best applicable oilfield practices, and company policies and procedures
• Liase with field management to ensure the work programs are carried out on schedule and in an efficient manner to optimise oil and gas production
• Prepare, propose for approval and monitor the annual budget for all operational departments
• Ensure the welfare and safety of field staff employees, contractors and all visitors to offshore operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
General Qualifications
• Deep understanding of historical safety record and issues in the off-shore industry and how these have been and are managed
• Comprehensive knowledge of the work practices, standards and procedures required to meet or exceed all applicable regulatory requirements
• Membership of relevant industry safety and operational networks and a recognized key player by industry peers in these areas
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of oil and gas operations in the North Sea
• Bring fresh thinking to existing operations and business models
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
• A proven track record of delivery
• Enthusiastic, with a high energy work ethic
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter, with the ability to create opportunities and take calculated risks
Technical Qualifications
• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering, ideally with a further degree in Petroleum engineering (or demonstrated cross-disciplina
