The Role:
Job Purpose:
To support the Drilling Supervisor on site in supervising drilling, completion, well testing and workover operations and ensuring that all activities are conducted as per program in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, complying with the onsite prejob drilling engineering proposal against the drilling program coordinate and assist necessary adjustment to the prejob engineering proposal as required based on actual wellCompany's standards and local regulations requirements.

Key Accountabilities:
• Assist Drilling Supervisor review and check conditions
• Assist in supervising the execution of the drilling-, completion-,well testing- and workover program and ensuring that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, complying with the Company's standards
• Assist in ensuring adherence to SSHE Management System, Drilling Management System (DMS), the Contractor Management Plan (CMP) and the local regulatory requirements.
• Contribute in creating one team with drilling and service contractors personnel on site with the goal to drill the wells efficiently, maintaining a high SSHE standards.
• Assist in managing drilling and service contractors on site and report on their performance to the Drilling Supervisor.
• Assist in providing continuous, accurate and reliable information on any aspect of the operations to the Drilling Supervisor and assist in preparing daily and other reports.
• Create together with drilling and service contractors on site a positive attitude towards SSHE, support JSA’s, participate in HAZIP and HAZOP studies and SSHE reviews, follow-up action items, assist the SSHE engineer on site and contribute to a SSHE improvement plan.
• Contribute to pre-start drilling audits to ensure that competent personnel and adequate equipment are available for execution.
• Assist with the timely delivery of equipment and materials required for the drilling operations, considering logistics constraints and complying with the Procurement and Contracting process and the Contractor Management Plan (CMP).
• Contribute in providing input for the risk management process and emergency response plans for the Drilling Operations.
• Contribute in providing input for the Drilling Management System (DMS) and suggest improvements.
• Provide support to QA/QC engineer.
• Assist in developing staff through mentoring and coaching, performance feedback and identifying development opportunities
• Ensure all activities required under Competency Management System (CMS) are completed on time
• Work with SSHE Coach and Logistics Coordinator provide drilling engineering assistance to ensure safety and logistics coordinations are in line with daily activities and weekly look ahead

Job End Results:
• Support in delivery of quality wells as per drilling program and successful completions of all other programs in time, within budget and with high SSHE standards.
• Support in conducting Drilling Operations in accordance with the Company's SSHE Management System, the Drilling Management System, Competence Management System, Vendor Management System and the local regulatory requirements
• Contribution to a competent team on site with the required certifications and good working relationships between the Company's staff, drilling and service contractors with proven results in Drilling Operations.
• Contribution to contingency and emergency response plans
• Completion of all activities required under CMS e.g., completion of training courses, attend on-the-job training

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Education & Experience:
• Qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• Certifications & training
- Industry training in drilling technology and SSHE
- Current IWCF certificate, supervisory sub-sea level, and HUET

• Professional Experience
- 5 years’ experience in drilling, completion and workover operations

Requirement of technical competency
Technical competency requirements are laid down in the Drilling Global and Australia Addendum job competence profile (JCP). The main competency elements can be summarized as follows:
- Bit program, hydraulics, drilling mechanics / drillstring design
- Well abandonment / slot recovery, plug and abandon plan
- Third party services contracting
- Logistics management and operations
- SSHE management for drilling
- SSHE for drilling operations (onshore & offshore)
- Drillstring handling and make up / monitoring tripping operations / running casing / installing bops / dive
