The Company:
The Multinational Oil and Gas Company in Indonesia known as KKKS/PSC is looking for "Operations Interface Coordinator" (Indonesia Nationality Only).
The company has been established in Southeast Asia since 1986, operating across 9 blocks in 3 countries, and employs approximately 400 people.

The Role:
The Operations Interface Coordinator will be a seasoned operations professional responsible for development of the operations plan for the project development, as well as managing the interface with existing project Operations, during the project execution phase.
Based in Jakarta, the project manager will be a leading member of the project team, responsible for ensuring that the project is designed in a fit-for purpose manner for subsequent operation, and executed safely without threat to the existing operations or undue production loss at the existing project. The incumbent will therefore be a key contributor in establishing the detailed plans for the execution phase.
Key to the success of this role will be a good understanding of offshore operations and the establishment of good relations with the Production Operations team to understand their concerns.
Additionally the incumbent is also responsible for developing the detailed Operations Strategy and Philosophy for the project facilities (covering logistics and maintenance planning), so these are ready in time for first gas in line with corporate processes (including PSR, PEMS, POMS, SIMOPS documents where required, and the local operations Readiness or “go/no go” process).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in a recognised Engineering discipline or equivalent offshore experience in operational or similar project roles.
• Minimum 15 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record in managing offshore field operations in an offshore environment.
• Contract/subcontract management experience.
• Strong Interpersonal and team oriented skills
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Offshore production operations
• Offshore logistics

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrate leadership: reporting opinions upwards - strong two-way communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively and constructively with both project and Production Operations Groups during planning of the brownfield project.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing work environment.
• Capability to build strong relationships with all contact points, internal and external.
• Ability to organise work activities for efficient offshore operation.
