The Role:
The Operations Manager (UK) is responsible for developing the Operations Strategy and Operating Model, developing Annual Business Plans in line with these and the goals and objectives of the business and then safely delivering on this Plan. Also to lead a step change in UK operating performance.

–Accountable for developing the UK Operations Strategy and Operating Model
–Accountable for the planning, budgeting, execution and management of all Operated Asset production operations.
–Accountable for development & execution of the annual Asset Improvement Plan.
–Accountable for eliminating or minimising risks, operational and regulatory, to delivery of the business plan.
–Accountable for compliance and implementation of statutory legislation, company policy’s & standards and procedures.
–Responsible for the operational interface with the technical and other functions to ensure that medium /longer term improvement areas are identified.
–Responsible for increasing the production capacity by improving the UK facilities performance and working with the Operated Assets team to maximize facilities uptime
–Ensure there are adequate competent resources, including contingency arrangements, to run the business and deliver on our commitments.
–Adhere to the Competence and Training framework policy and procedures to ensure each team member attains and maintains the required competency level to perform their role and, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed.

Key relationships with main functions, contractors, offshore and onshore operating facilities, leadership team and the UK/NL regulators
Help build a network across similar roles in CE and industry to facilitate best practice and a learning organisation

1)Embedding Operations Excellence as the way we work in UK/NL
2)Delivering a step change in predictability around facilities uptime and delivering a measureable improvement in DoE
3)Deliver a 3 year strategy on lifting cost management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
–Extensive work experience in operations and production engineering
–Proven management and supervisory experience
–In depth knowledge of UK E&P legislation, procedures and practices
–Extensive knowledge of E&P production processes e.g. separation, metering, compression.
–Engineering Degree
