The Company:

The Role:
•The Operations Project Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating projects and initiatives within the Wind Energy Operations function.
•Through utilization of project management tools, project plans and structured processes that lead to safe, efficient and successful execution of projects supporting Field Operations.
Key Accountabilities:
•Overall accountability for projects and programs as assigned by the Technical Services Director including planning, managing, reporting and communicating project safety, cost, schedule, operability and any other metric as identified by the Tech Services Director as critical to success
•Ensure all assigned projects have project plans, milestones and where applicable, stage gates, that are effectively communicated to all stakeholders
•Identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities
•Coordinating with site personnel, operations team personnel and third party contractors on operational initiatives, turbine or balance of plant technical issues, on-site troubleshooting, root cause analyses, design work and maintenance activities
•Engaging turbine OEMs and service providers, in conjunction with current engineering resources, on technical issues relating to their products and services
•Supporting development and review of procedures relating to turbine and mechanical system maintenance and/or integration of condition monitoring program.
•Provision of regular updates on progress to line manager and key stakeholders

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Demonstrated project/program management experience in a technical environment
•Background in technical system troubleshooting and problem solving
•Ability to work with complex technical, operational, compliance, and safety-related technical issues and ensure that sites are running safety and efficiently
•Demonstrated Safety, Health and Environmental exposure and experience
•Demonstrated Compliance awareness
•Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis
•Must be available to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in use of SharePoint or FTP type data storage and navigation sites
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, and analytical skills

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred

Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred – relevant demonstrated experience considered
Project Management Professional certification a plus
