The Company:
A major Oil & Gas operator seeks an Operations Readiness Consultant to join their team in Houston, TX.

The Role:
An individual with 20+ years of experience on offshore oil and gas facilities. Plans and directs operations activities within an organization or major project. This individual should be able to interact with project leadership in planning and coordinating all work process on a major floating facility. Should have an OIM license and extensive offshore experience on floating production facilities and dealing with high-pressure high rate wells. A working knowledge of Subsea wells, Subsea systems, flow assurance issues related to deep/cold Subsea systems and Facility/Subsea controls systems. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This individual should have the ability to work closely with design engineering to develop a system that strikes a balance between HS&E and operations requirements (especially in HAZOPS and HAZIDS), CAPEX, OPEX and schedule. Effectively manages interfaces between operations and engineering. Some oversea travel maybe involved with his work assignment.

Provide leadership in the in development of:
. Marine requirements for a major floating facility
. Early operations requirement for new facilities.
. Requirements to facilitate the startup of a major offshore facility.
• Operations capital Budgets during the design and startup phase.
• Permit to Work process that includes SIMOPS, Work permitting guidelines, Safe Work Plan guidelines.
• Team Goals, Monitors Goal Progress & Effectiveness.
• The Emergency management Procedure that includes the ICS structure.
• Operations requirement for the equipment and systems on the facility during FEED and detail design.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
20+ years of experience on offshore oil and gas facilities
Should have an OIM license and extensive offshore experience on floating production facilities and dealing with high-pressure high rate wells
A working knowledge of Subsea wells, Subsea systems, flow assurance issues related to deep/cold Subsea systems and Facility/Subsea controls systems
