The Role:
The Operations Readiness Manager is responsible for working with the contractor to ensure that the pre-commissioning, commissioning, operator training (if required) and start-up plans are ready for implementation as required by the EPC schedule.
The Operations Readiness Manager works with the contractor to develop the systemization for the turnover packages.
The turnover package organization is critical to a seamless custody transfer of the system from the construction team to the commissioning team.
The system defines the limits of responsibility for both the commissioning team and the construction team
The Operations Readiness Manager works with the contractor to ensure a robust preservation program is in place to maintain the equipment received by the contractor.
This includes ensuring that receipt and maintenance records are maintained for all equipment and the equipment is being properly managed to ensure a safe, reliable and Flawless start-up of the facilities.
The Performance Indicators for Flawless start-up need to be developed in conjunction and as part of the Contractor’s overall QA/QC manual and procedures.
The Operations Readiness Manger is solely responsible and custodian of the project's LNG’s Flawless Start-up process and procedures.
The Operations Readiness Manager is also responsible for coordinating the contractor’s development of preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for the equipment.
These schedules and procedures are developed from the vendors’ supplied maintenance procedures. This information is organized to facilitate upload into MAXMO.
The Operations Readiness Manager also works with the operations group to develop Performance Standards and Operations Implementation Plan.
He monitors this work to ensure that this is in completed in time to support the commissioning, start-up and operation of the facility.

Initially this position will be located in Houston and will transition to the construction site in Hackberry, LA as the project progresses.
The role will report into the Process Engineering Manager in Houston and to the VP Engineering and Construction on Site.
•Comment and review contractor’s systemization and turnover plan and the designated project's LNG person responsible for Completions.
•Review and comment on contractors’ operation and maintenance training program
•Review and comment contractors pre-commissioning , commissioning and start-up procedures
•Is project LNG’s Custodian who is responsible for the projects LNG’s Flawless Start-up program
•Review and comment on contractors vendor support plan for commissioning and Flawless start-up
