The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas operator, is looking for a Senior Operations Advisor to join their team.

With offices in both Calgary and Houston, our client is open to American and Canadian candidates.

The Role:
-Utilities Operations Representative is responsible for providing Utilities operating expertise during Phase 3, Phase 4 detailed design activities, completion work and the transition to Phase 5 operations.
-Responsible for input to design operability, reliability and maintainability of the Water Treatment, Plant & Instrument Air, Steam, Power and Nitrogen Generation areas and equipment.
.Provide support Project Assurance through the application of the Project Operations Planning process.
-Assist with preparation of OPEX as well as cost and schedule estimates and provides input to progress reports.

Duties will also include:
- attend FATs, support module Fab yard work, transition into a back-to-back rotational / residential Process Area Commissioning Lead role in Kitimat, British Columbia to oversee execution of:
- pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and ultimate handover of the completed facilities to the CBU LNG Operations team.

The position will work closely with the CBU LNG representatives to plan and oversee the recruitment, on-boarding and training of new plant operations staff, and provide supervision of that staff during the commissioning, start-up and performance testing phases of the EPC contract.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-HS and Ability to review engineering drawings (PFD, P&ID, SAFE charts, cause/ effect diagrams, etc.), and to ensure operability, maintainability and reliability are integrated into the detailed engineering design.
- Able to provide Operations input into engineering and loss prevention detailed design reviews (e.g. plot plan and P&ID review, HAZOPS/SOA, Fire Prevention, 3-D CAD).
- LNG / Gas Plant Operations Experience (LNG / cryogenic plant experience a strong advantage): Water Treatment, Plant & Instrument Air, Steam, Power and Nitrogen Generation and associated utilities equipment.
- Experience with fuel gas distribution, flare systems, firewater/foam generation systems and effluent treatment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience with input to and the development and utilization of operating procedures advantageous
