The Role:
Key Responsibilities
• Office desk allocation controls
• Organizing internal office move
• Organize and control Stationary distribution
• Control on Catering and Indoor housekeeping provided by contractor(s)
• To report to the SC/OPS Manager and have overall responsibility for the safe control of work activities in accordance with BP procedures and within their designated area
• Issue, subsequent Control and Revalidation of Permits and Routine Implementations
• Be familiar with all AzSPU Caspian SSOW documents
• Providing the culture to “STOP the Job”
• Carry out required Competency Assessments (PA, FW, CSEA)
• Conducting STOP and SOC
• Conducting PTW and ICC audits
• Validating lessons learned and audits
• Creating COW Routine Templates
• Ensuring that all tasks have been risk assessed and planned
• Lead Level 2 Risk Assessment meetings
• Conducting Toolbox Talks with the PA and work party
• The face-to-face communication with PA before permit is Requested, Verified, Issued, Suspended and Job Completed
• Carrying out regular worksite inspections
• Ensuring that adequate handovers take place at shift change, crew change or other change out/over of AA’s, PA’s and IA’s
Job Requirements (preferred)
• Experience as a Supervisor working in an oil & gas related project
• Good Knowledge of Safe systems of Work including Permit to Work and BP Golden Roles of safety
• Azerbaijani Citizenship
• High technical education
• Able to converse and write in English
• Extensive knowledge of the risk assessment process
• Good computer skills
• Awareness and understanding of International Health & Safety practices
• Commissioning Experience would be an added benefit
• An understanding of planning and scheduling processes
• Experience with the ISSoW electronic PTW system
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills
• The ability to work in a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural team
• Clear and effective communicator in Azerbaijani and English
• Meets the requirements for working in an ethical manner. Conversant in BP Code Conduct
• High standard of culture awareness
• Understands and implements the BP Philosophy of No injuries to people, no harm to the environment and damage to equipment
