The Company:
A Leading Independant Operator within the Oil and Gas Industry who operate in the North Sea, Middle East and Asia.

The Role:
Operations Support for this project, is responsible for operations input to the design specs and strategies for FPSO and Subsea design from an operational aspect.

The Project is currently under development and is due to commence production at start of 4 Q 2017.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide operations input into the project development during Concept select, FEED and detailed design
• Acceptance of systems from the project team during each phase

Key Deliverables

• Establishes operational plans, strategies for each phase of development.
• Work with design teams to ensure the overall field operations meet the business plans in terms of operability, safety and reliability
• Develop opex cost model
• Interfacing with other projects
• Liaising with the client’s functional operations group.

Major Challenges

• Developing operational plans for the project development operating in a remote location.

Reporting & Management Relationships

• Reports to the development manager
• Fuctional link to corporate operation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications (Educational, Professional or Industry)

• Professional Qualification
• Graduate/degree education or equivalent

Candidate Profile - Skills/Experience

• Previous experience in operations for FPSOs.
• Held similar position in developing project.
• In depth knowledge of oil and gas field production, development planning and project execution including subsurface and commercial aspects
• Experience in Safety case development, operations and performance
• Strong organisational skills to be able to juggle multiple issues and changing priorities
• Proven track record demonstrating strong interpersonal skills for influencing JV partners and leading multidiscipline groups
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills to build effective relationships, gain support for recommendations and address/ challenge partner issues.
• Sound knowledge of commercial contracts and contract negotiations
• Experience in business and financial analysis and economi

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations)
• Strong network with Joint Venture partners and other Operators and potential contractors.
• Familiarisation with the company's asset base and internal systems and processes

• Able to drive for the client’s objectives while establishing positive long term relationships within JVs
• Able to maintain collaborative working relationships with local functions
