The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest energy providers in Europe with a rapidly growing E&P division.

The Role:
To provide Operations Department with Technical Assistance for the management of operational information and data.
Operations Technical Assistant will be required to support all company assets in the management of operational information to support day to day operations and long term integrity management.
Operations Technical Assistant will be required to maintain the information within the asset information and anomaly management databases.

This role works for the operations department, primarily in the maintenance, control and co-ordination of operated asset information.
The main duties will be directed by the Subsea Technical Authority, some of which are outlined below. The list is not exhaustive and this role will evolve:
•Support the Operations Department in its day to day activities,
•Ensure operational data is gathered and correctly assigned to its asset,
•Set up monitoring and trending information,
•Third party liaison for information and reports,
•Prepare reports on asset information status,
•Be a focal point for asset information storage and control to all regions,
•Input asset information into database and maintain revisions,
•Co-ordinate the updating of asset critical information documents – control master copies & marked up documents, co-ordinate updates and re-vision issue,
•Assist with the management of the asset anomaly system – action tracking, follow ups, reporting, data input and system advise to users,
•Support the management of the information database as a key user of the system,
•Advisor to users on functionality and use of database systems,
•Attendance at meetings, both internal & external and where necessary prepare minutes of meetings.

•Standard / Higher Grade in Maths & English,
•Relevant subsea / production oil and gas industry experience with understand of oil and gas terminology,
•Experience in Data Management and/or Document Control,
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and to be able to appreciate and understand key issues and manage them accordingly to meet deadlines,
•Good planning and organisational skills,
•Ability to prioritise and mange time effectively,
•Solid IT skills, including intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint,
•Excellent communication skills, written and verbal,
•Experience in taking, production and co-ordination of Minutes of Meetings.
