The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
• Deliver HSE input and output targets per West Chirag Performance Contract
• Read and understand all volumes the Caspian Region Safe Systems of Work. Fully comprehend all SSOW procedures and serve Performing Authority and / or Isolating Authority role where required. Ensure proper execution of all SSOW for each location
• Actively participate in safety briefings, pre-job toolbox safety talks, and the risk assessment process
• Perform emergency response duties as defined in the ER Plans
• Work to ensure clear effective communication, verbal and written
• Report all safety concerns to your line manager

Training & Development
• Identify technical, team, or any other problem areas and, equally assist in solving them.
• Attend technical training as identified by your line supervisor
• Ensure progression of competency database for sail-away and operational competence
• Participate in team building activities to build positive relationship with entire team.
• Maintain a positive attitude, build a team environment and conduct yourself in a manner of professionalism.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently – be aware of cultural and language communication barriers

Design:
• Gain a clear understanding of the ACG Project, specifically West Chirag. Walk through facility using PDMS model; review system operating guides; understand operating philosophies,
• Assist engineering in review of design documentation and P&ID’s providing operational input and experience
• Attend HAZOP’s, HAZID’s, SIL assessments etc as per project schedule
• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests on behalf of Operations team
• Liaise regularly with peers on other ACG assets to learn lessons and share ideas
• Develop an awareness of the commissioning plan and critical path, contribute to the planning of work activity in a way that maximises overall efficiency and assist other members of the team as required to carry out these plans
• Deliver assigned elements of Operations Readiness Plan

Construction & Commissioning:
Integrate with discipline engineers, vendors, construction, drilling and commissioning teams. Conduct system walkdowns & punchlisting, witness key commissioning steps including review and participation in CTP’s, leak testing, tri and bi-party punchlisting
• Ensure GOC is applied and adhered to, act as discipline operations representative for final system handover review and acceptance
• Act as performing authority and isolating authority for relevant commissioning activities e.g. N2 leak testing
• Review and revise O&M procedures and CBT modules for accuracy via walk downs, study and procedure workshop attendance. Deliver complete and accurate O&M procedures according to schedule
• Complete competency assessment including Operator Suite web training prior to sail away, take advantage of the practical learnings of other, work with vendors/engineers onsite.
• Be familiar with the start-up procedures plan and ramp up
• Assist in developing robust and fit for purpose equipment and plant SOP’s.
• Maintain systems onshore following final system handover acceptance by Operations
• Prepare detailed handover notes to inform peers and back to backs of progress & lessons learnt
• Deliver assigned elements of Operations Readiness Plan

HUP, SUP & Operations:
• Deliver assigned elements of Operations Readiness Plan ensuring all critical activities are complete prior to 1st Oil.
• Maintain and operate systems handed over from commissioning
• Conduct system walkdowns/punchlisting, witness key commissioning steps including review and participation in CTP’s, leak testing, tri and bi-party punchlisting, and act as discipline operations representative for final system handover review and acceptance for offshore systems handover.
• Complete relevant competency assessments for offshore systems
• Execute start up plan ensuring safe and efficient start up of platform
• Assist in development and implementation of maintenance planning directed through the maintenance management system
• Coach, develop and assess National Azeri technicians to achieve Nationalisation targets
• Prepare detailed handover notes to inform peers and back to backs of progress & lessons learnt
• Participate in regular performance reviews with line manager
