The Role:
Process Technology knowledge required in the production of Polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE) with operations and training experience required. To utilize plant resources(s) with working knowledge of the process to coach and enhance the technical capabilities of the teams by sharing experiences, technical skills and knowledge. Provides a coach/mentor on shift, with good interpersonal skills, to assist the team and individuals with people systems issues including conflict resolution, personnel issues relating to company policies, employee development Process.

• Technical / process subject matter resource in the individual area of expertise.
• Reviews Operating Discipline to ensure procedures are adequate.
• Plant contact for Startup or Shutdown issues.
• Develops Shutdown monitoring plans as required.
• Coaches Plant personnel to resolve technical Operate Plant issues.
• Performs or assist in process related Root Cause or failure analysis.
• Enhances front line skills and knowledge through coaching on process, equipment, engineering, etc.
• Identifies areas for improvement and network with technical resources who are identifying Most Effective Technology.
• Creates leads and, assists improvement teams, and performs work with Expertise Centers on issues relating to their area of expertise (i.e. work with reliability engineer to resolve mechanical reliability issues).
• Facilitates first line conflict resolution.
• Performs day to day People Systems tasks required for the team.
• Coaches team members People Systems, policies that apply to shift workers.
• Coaches team members on appropriate resources to resolve personal issues.
• Previous managerial experience
Significant Polyethylene Production experience

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant Polyethylene Production experience
• Technical Degree, Vocational College or Apprenticeship
• Previous managerial experience
• Leadership
