The Role:
Our client is seeking an Operations Training Specialist who is responsible for coordinating and managing training and competence of all Operations personnel who will operate the project site and project LNG facilities.

Reporting to the Asset Solutions Group Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Apply specific equipment knowledge and experience to ensure superior training outcomes for all Operations personnel
• Responsible for providing Training and Competency Assurance for operations personnel on the OTS system
• Provide training and assessment for Operations personnel in safety, fundamental knowledge and Control Room operations, including, process control, trouble shooting and emergency / incident response
• Carry out all training activities in accordance with corporate and regulatory policies and procedures, rules and regulations, and compliance with all safety and environmental standards
• Development of training and assessment resources for OTS related activities
• Coordinate training activities and assist other Trainers to develop and deliver training material and courses

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the Production areas of an LNG plant and associated support areas
• Has comprehensive experience in the control of all areas of an LNG facility utilising a DCS system. This will include steady state operations, upset conditions and emergency response. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of Process Control knowledge.
• Holds, or is working towards Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• Understands the principles of gas production, gathering and processing and the maintenance issues associated with this equipment
• Capable of multi-tasking very well with a range of projects and tasks
