The Role:
By preparing frequent overviews of the development maturation performance, both qualitative and quantitative, he/she provides analysis of and insights into deliverable status, progress, budget, cost, and schedules, and forewarns in a timely fashion to enable intervention. The position is Dubai based, with frequent visits to Iraq.

Owner of the plan within the Asset and between Functions. Optimizes the plan, in order to maximize value delivery and generates alternative scenarios. Ensures the delivery of high quality analytical work to support the asset in general, with a focus on development and commercial/finance.
Co-ordinates annual updates to Asset Reference Plans for the Majnoon FCP Project. Assists OR&A Lead(s) with generating key input material. Makes suggestion for upgrades and improvements as appropriate to optimize the plan.
Acts as custodian of Opportunity Realisation Process (ORP) gate schedule for Operations Readiness Reviews (ORR), ensuring ORR and ORP schedules are maintained in Primavera Project Planner, and creates a ORP Dashboard on a monthly basis and shares with key stakeholders. Tracks changes versus plan and provides input as required into Asset Business Performance Reviews.
Coaches Opportunity Project Managers on delivery of their projects through the ORP. Ensures consistency and robustness in terms of content and do-ability.
Schedules, prepares and minutes OR meetings for Majnoon FCP Project (including Field) and covers other hubs (DS1, DS2, CPF) as necessary.
Assists with designing, planning and facilitation of events; Operations Readiness Reviews (ORR), Verification and Certification of Readiness (VCR), Statement of Fitness (SoF), Project framing workshops, partner engagement sessions, ORP milestone reviews, etc.
In all of the areas above, continuously strive to improve efficiency, standardise processes, and streamline interfaces.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications: Higher technical qualification

Experience: Seasoned (+15 years) technical or operations professionals with a background in either of production / maintenance operations, asset management and/or project supervision (e.g. commissioning) with demonstrable experience in the areas of interest for the job.

Must be a self-start, highly motivated leader with a proven track record who can recruit, create and develop a team.

Good communication and analytical skills are essential

Working experience on part of, or the entire, EP Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front line oil and gas production operations is desirable.

A HSSE driven mindset

The competencies defined below are desirable as a minimum, although shortfalls are acceptable if demonstrated strengths in above requirements and/or other areas are made apparent.
