The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
The OSBL Construction Management is responsible to all Downstream construction works outside of the LNGF plot area, including site infrastructures, Permanent buildings, General Utility Area, waste water & CO2 well pads and CO2 pipelines. You also need to do the following below:

• Develops and implements project strategy and objectives for safety, schedule, cost and quality of all OSBL Construction activity on site.
• Assures that site procedures are developed, in place and implemented to protect Company interests and assets.
• Responsible for document controls and reporting as well as site project controls, quality, and overall construction productivity with OSBL scope.
• Key Interface for all development, design, procurement, , systems completion and transition and compliance activities for construction of OSBL plants and facilties.
• Responsible for overall delivery performance of OSBL construction scope on SITE. HESQ
• Promote a positive HSEQ culture by active participation in development, implementation and engagement the company’s Health, Environmental Protection and Safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct HSE audits & reviews.
• Lead and actively participate in incident investigations for incidents.
• Work directly with contractors on HSEQ behaviours and culture to improve overall performance. Construction Management Provide the necessary oversight and stewardship to the EPCM OSBL Senior Construction Manager on SITE, providing the necessary direction and leadership such that the project controls functions at site is fully compliant with CVX processes and procedures, and deliverables meet CVX requirements. In particular be intimate with the following activities to ensure the Construction activities associated with the OSBL scope are conducted for best overall construction performance (safety, IIF, CHESM, schedule, quality and cost) in a safe and cost effective manner.
• Constructability and work method statement reviews.
• Management overwiev, review and verification of all the construction phase activtities ensuring communication, problem solving and coordination processes are in place.
• Construction and field procedures are developed and in place to protect Company assets.
• OSBL tasks are planned, resourced and completed as scheduled.
• Manage the timing and sequence of works within OSBL areas to facilitate optimal resource levelling of the execution contractors.
• The work is executed cost effectively and timely and in compliance with applicable engineering designs, specifications and quality standards • Interface with Perth engineering to ensure deliverables are issued as per plan.
• Ensure all construction controls are effectively implemented. Develop staffing strategies, approve and oversee staffing plans for OSBL Construction Organization at SITE.
• Accountable for building, leading and sustaining a highly committed team using CSOC leadership principles..
• Interfaces closely with the EPCM OSBL construction team personnel.
• Interfaces with others involved in OSBL Construction scope, such as project engineers, quality assurance and Perth based PMT.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
25+ years site construction experience
15+ years as a Construction Manager

Preferred Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and a keen understanding of construction management, sequencing and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of LNG construction is preferable and experience in dealing / interfacing with Contractors.
• Competent in use of common computer systems and software.
• Well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skill.

Additional Comments:
Position duration is initially 12 months, based on Barrow Island, working 11hour shifts on a 28/28 roster.
