The Role:
An opportunity is avaliable for a OSBL Construction Team Leader to join the Construction Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assurance and verification of OSBL Construction Scope. Develop and maintain fluency in OSBL construction contracts, designs and specifications, plans and schedules, and quality assurance processes
•Provide constructability input to OSBL Construction planning
•Review upcoming work scope and plans to anticipate problems with work scope priorities and sequencing and to help guide resolution of these problems before impact critical progress
•Monitor Contractor / Sub-Contractor technical performance at site during construction for OSBL scope, including Slugcatcher, Trunkline, Dom Gas, GTG's, Utilities and associated Module installation to ensure overall safe execution of the project
•This will include monitoring compliance with HES Management Plant, technical requirements, construction plans and permitting requirements
•Report any non-compliance issues and work with contractor to correct as required
•Elevate any issues as required for resolution
•Address ongoing utilities construction field clashed and problems, field design and spec deviations and field NCR's to ensure continuity of utilities construction execution in accordance with project objectives
•Review and assure utilities construction execution in accordance with quality assurance guidelines and objectives

SKILLS & EXPERTISE:
•Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade with substantial site construction experience
•Minimum 15 years construction experience with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry
•Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Must have attention to details and be able to drive closure of issues with Contractor's team
•General industry training associated with petroleum and construction industry required to perform role
