The Role:
Our Client is looking for an experienced OSH Auditor to assist the corporation to achieve occupational health and safety objectives through contributing to the development and implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.

Reporting to the Senior Consultant for OSH Assurance, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Establish and maintain relationships with Regions/Branches, including all levels of management
- Plan and coordinate audit/assurance activities in line with the schedule
- Undertake internal audit/assurance activities across the business within agreed timeframes and budget
- Evaluate the effectiveness of audit/assurance action items
- Conduct trend analysis for audit/assurance findings and prepare report on findings
- Assist in the management of change for system improvements, including consultation, the identification of subsidiary actions, and communication of changes
- Provide advice to OSH Management System users including workers and all levels of management within Regions/Branches
- Facilitate the contact with subject matter experts within the OSH Branch for the resolution of complex OSH issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Formal qualification in (internal) auditing management systems
- Considerable experience in a large multi-disciplined organisation
- Considerable experience in management system development and maintenance
- Considerable experience and demonstrated capability of undertaking and delivering internal Audit and Assurance activities.
- Considerable experience and demonstrated achievements in participating with and advising a multidisciplinary workforce.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of OSH management systems
- Proven skills in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective integration of OSH management into business practices

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Post Secondary qualification in an OSH related discipline and relevant OSH experience
- Working knowledge of State and Federal OSH legislation
