The Role:
The Outage Manager reports to the Outage Project Manager and will be responsible for the managing and coordinating work scopes associated with the Project outage in 2017 to tie the new RLPG refrigeration plant into the existing hydrocarbon systems.

The duration of the outage is circa 6 weeks and will require coordination with the project delivery teams, EPC contractor and the existing operations. The EPC will engineer, procure, fabricate and compile the workpacks and provide labour to execute the scopes.

Client will provide construction management of the EPC contractor. Outage may include some asset scope; this will be engineered and procured by the asset, workpacks complied by EPC contractor and executed as per the Project scope under Client construction management.

•Responsible for safe preparation and execution of the Outage underpinned by robust HSSE leadership.
•Responsible for establishing all requirements to ensure successful Outage delivery.
•Ensure duration, scope and resources manning are presented to the Steering committee in order to optimise business value
•Assumes full ownership and accountability for Outage preparations activities, including duration, scope and resources, in compliance with the GPO Major Projects common process (MPCp) Upstream Segment Practice GPO-PA-PRO-00001 V4-B06, Upstream Control of Work Procedure GOO-OP-PRO-00001 Rev 9.0 utilising the eCoW administration tool and aligned to the GOO Midstream Activity Planning process.
•Manages and maintains a workscope identification and prioritisation process for ultimate endorsement by the Outage PM and PGM.
•Ensures adequate engineering and construction processes are in place to allow timely preparation of workpacks and optimal execution.
•Integrates stakeholders essential to Outage delivery ensuring that deliverables and milestones are clearly defined and agreed
•Manages and monitors Outage preparation, regularly reporting status and risks to the Outage PM.
•Effectively manages the Outage budget, ensuring cost allocations are clear
•Responsible for producing the Outage Close Out report.
•Outage scope shall be undertaken in accordance with Upstream Control of Work Procedure GOO-OP-PRO-00001 Rev 9.0 utilising the eCoW administration tool. The Outage Plan shall follow the Midstream Activity Planning process.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience in managing complex and time critical Outage/TAR scopes.
