The Company:
Our client is a multinational chemical company responsible for the construction, ownership and operation of it's own plants.

The Role:
Provide Process Automation support to the plant and perform improvement studies and project implementation.

1. Assist in efforts to optimize or design new installations or modifications to existing facilities, in order to improve quality, workflow and prevent losses.
2. Actively participate in engineering projects or studies by analysing and evaluating relevant data. Provide inputs on scope, effort on existing installations or systems, economic value, long-range planning and budgetary considerations. Work with plant operators and production engineers on day-to-day operations
3. Be the front line PA contact for keeping the plant on-line
4. Support operator training on the CV-OTS system
5. Responsible for maintenance of the ABB code and coordination with external ABB resources if needed for plant automation system upkeep.
6. Maintain a progress/ status report of work and communicate to all stakeholders to ensure that there will be no deviation from the approved scope.
7. Develop a definition of the assigned problem and provide alternatives for resolving the problem.
8. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in any relevant engineering field.
• 5 years of experience in required technical / functional field.
