The Role:
•To act as the Package Manager for the Contract with the Contractor.
•To assist the Pipelines Manager with the recruitment of personnel for the team.
•To manage the day to day activities of the team at the engineering offices of the Contractor as well as the construction and installation sites both onshore and offshore.
•To ensure that all relevant documentation created by the Contractor is reviewed and commented on by the relevant specialists within the appropriate time frame.
•To act as Chairman of the Weekly and Monthly Meetings
•To attend meetings held at the offices in Aberdeen as required.
•To ensure that all the interfaces with CWPs A and B have been correctly identified and a management plan is in place to administer these interfaces.
•To safely deliver the facilities on time and within budget.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•The post holder will be qualified to degree level or equivalent with extensive experience of the safe management of pipeline engineering, construction and installation operations. In addition the following requirements should be met:
oFluent in spoken and written English.
oFully conversant with standard software packages (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
oGood communication skills and a team player able to function under the pressure of tight working deadlines.
oAble to manage and motivate a team of experienced professionals. Define clear work objectives and associated time frame for delivery. Manage a multitude of parallel and critical tasks by setting priorities in order to achieve the overall objectives.
oFamiliar with the relevant legislation and regulatory framework. Fully conversant with HSE legislation.
oProactively anticipating potential issues, which could impact the project in terms of schedule and cost.
oMaintaining an accurate daily log
