The Company:
A major Oil and Gas contractor

The Role:
In the frame of the development of our floaters activities in FEED project or in Execution(FLNG), we would like hiring a Package Manager Turret.
He will have a coordination role and a global responsibility on the overall project in order to bring to his Head any information and technical suggestion that could enable to avoid delays in the schedule, overspending and deviance from the contractual scope.
He will have to follow the turret system evolution in close connection with our subcontractor from the call for tender during engineering and fabrication until the installation on the floaters, in terms of period, budget and contractual aspects. So that he will have to facilitate the solution of budget and period issues linked to turret and verify the contractual limits of the subcontractor.

Technical skills :

Produce the specifications thanks to engineering elements and in connection with the Purchase and Legal Services for the contractual aspects.
Follow the call for tender and select the turret manufacturer with the Purchase Service.
Warn the manager about any overspending or delay in the turret fabrication so as to enable him to implement required corrective actions.
Supervise the execution of the different activities linked to engineering, provision of critical pieces (ex: swivel), fabrication and turret installation during the project.
Approve the technical solutions proposed by the manufacturer in accordance with the budget and the period given for the turret.
Make sure that the demands in matter of QA,HSE and risks are properly treated.
Be the entrance point for every engineer linked to the turret system.
Manage the contract (until 600M€) of the turret fabrication: deal with the claims, check contractual demands are respected, warn the manager about any variation of the initial contractual scope, anticipate any contract modification (change order).

Interdisciplinary skills :

Project management : he will have to follow, avoid and anticipate discrepancies in terms of period, schedule and budget for this substantial project.
Management of a team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 to 15 years’ experience in turret area
Education : mechanical engineer
Knowledge in mechanical systems design
Knowledge in QA, HSE and risks
Knowledge of contractual aspects of a project
International mobility required
Capacity to coordinate, to communicate with diplomacy, leadership
Ability to manage a subcontractor
