The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Package Quality Engineer for a long term position to be based in London

Location: London
Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week
Day Rate: Negotiable

To assist the quality activities for the Project from Engineering through to site delivery of materials and equipment. Also support the project post-delivery of equipment undertaking quality audits.
To ensure that engineering, design and procurement quality aspects are maintained throughout design, procurement & construction phases.
A key aspect of this position is to perform evaluations of vendor responses to Purchase Order Quality requirements stated in inquiries and tenders (RFI, RFP, RFA, BCM, PO KO Meetings) with input & follow up.
Carry out audits of Contractor & Suppliers/Sub-Suppliers as requested by Functional Quality Lead Engineer & Project/AVL Audit Schedule. Track status & closeout of Findings & Corrective Actions/Observations. Maintain the iHub (electronic document management system) Audit & Corrective Action list. Ensure actions are satisfactorily implemented with respective KPI’ feedback.
Assist in Ensuring Contractors Quality is in compliance with requirements & objectives, Contracts & Global Agreements.
Review/comment/discuss/attend selected Contractor audits to assist verification of project processes are in compliance.
Approval of suppliers quality plans and Inspection and test plans (ITP’s)
To assist in providing Assurance that all Major Project Common Process requirements are identified, planned and implemented within the procedures & processes implemented for the projects.
Prepare audit reports & issue to the project management as necessary within the agreed timescale.
Attend monthly Assurance meetings with other project and contractor personnel.
Assistance in maintaining overall audit schedule for Project & Supplier audits.
Review Supplier quality documents.
Identify & raise any project quality concerns/observations with Project Quality Manager.

Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering/Auditing role
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an quality role applicable to oil & gas onshore and/or offshore Pipeline and equipment
Profound knowledge of applicable standards/ legislation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HND/HNC (or equivalent technical qualifications)
Quality Lead Auditor certification and training (IRCA desirable)
CQI or AQI Membership [desirable]
