* Develop conventional gun to electrostatic bell application
* People management of the robot programming team
* Continuous improvement programs, systems & equipment

Main duties:

* Ensure new projects are handed over on time & within agreed quality expectations.
* Attend project reviews & daily production meetings as & when required.
* Provide robot training and assistance to the programmers when required.
* Assist with robotic application to improve R.F.T & Yields.
* Provide technical application support to the production & project departments.
* Maintain continuous improvement programs.
* Liaise with and advise paint suppliers during new project & colour introduction.
* Continually analyse production & new products, applying continuous improvement techniques & programs to minimise application faults.
* Work closely with project engineering in the development & introduction of new projects.
* Ensure 5s housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Create & work to projects & own timing plans.
* Maximise post density.
* Project manage CIP regarding application equipment, robotics & software initiatives.
* Efficient use of paint materials i.e. transfer efficiency measures & targets.
* Leading the dirt reduction teams.
* Optimise robotic application to improve paint line transfer efficiency.

* Cost tracking for all projects to ensure project budgets are met.
* Manage effectively the robot programming team members and performance manage as and when necessary.
* To project a professional image of the company to customers/visitors.
* Accountable for organising and prioritising workloads to meet customer requirements.
* Continually update knowledge of new technology & process applications for robotic equipment.
* Maintain Health & Safety in your area & report any accidents & record.
* Compliance for all health and safety and environmental requirements within the associated area of responsibility
* Knowledge of quality standards.
* To project a professional image of the company to customers/visitors.
* Accountable for organising and prioritising workloads to meet customer requirements.
* Installing management reviews and documentation for the teams to operate within
* Undertake appraisals on an annual basis, manage training requirements and the development of team members. Ensure that training matrices are kept up to date.
* Conduct return to work interviews and maintain a firm and fair approach to disciplinary and grievance matters.

* Comply with the Lock Out Tag Out Procedure (where applicable)
* Comply with the Safe System of Work documents
* Take appropriate actions in emergency situations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years Robot Programming & Paint application Experience.
* Ability to optimise, Back up & manage Robot Programs & Files.
* Good Mechanical Aptitude at H.N.C Level or similar Engineering discipline.
* Good decision making and problem solving skills.
* Good analytical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a high turn over Multi Batch production facility.
* Manual dexterity.
* Ability to work on own initiative & with minimum supervision.
* Good communication skills.
* Good literacy & numeracy skills.
* Computer literate.
* Strong attention span with the Tenacity to see the job through.
* Good Colour Vision.
* Knowledge of Xrite & colour measuring techniques.
* Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques (Cross Hatch).
* Knowledge & use of CAD software.
* Able to create Timing Plans using Excel Spread Sheets & Microsoft Project
