The Company:
A major Oil and Gas operator for an Italian project

The Role:
We are looking for a Painting and Insulation Supervisor ready to work in Basilicata area in Italy on a site in a project which covers the development of an onshore hydrocarbon field.

The Painting and Insulation Supervisor will report to the QC Leader

Activities

Preparation of construction activities:
•To participate in the technical reviews
•To ensure that all risks are well anticipated and reduced as much as possible by the contractor
•To ensure that the quality of the coating / insulation performed on site by the contractor and any subcontractors is in compliance with contract requirements

Control of Contractor during construction activities:
•To ensure that the EPC contractor QHSE practices are acceptable and that proper measures and procedures are being implemented by everyone concerned
•To ensure that proper coating / insulation procedures are applied, that proper consumables are used, and that production is performed in accordance with specifications and codes
•To ensure that the coating / insulation activities on site are safe
•To participate in weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings with the contractor
•To report on any problem encountered in his discipline to the QC Leader

Reporting:
•To prepare the daily report in his discipline
•To organize efficient communication with his back-to-back replacement
•To ensure that company rules and directives are observed
•To assist in procedure preparation, being involved in the processing and update of the documentation
•To promote all actions in order to reach suitable Safety and Environmental performances during all phases of the project development.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
•To control the coating work on site

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
•Qualifications: Coating Inspector program – Training and Certification – CIP LEVEL 2
•Fluent in Italian, English or French will be a plus
