The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
To carry out blast and coat inspections and related activates in accordance with project specifications and national standards.

- Adherence to Company Policy, procedures and Handbook.
- Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others
- To perform tasks which may be requested by Management and Supervision.
- Carry out blast and coat inspections as per project specification.
- Carry out daily testing as per project specification.
- Record all data on daily paint report sheet.
- Keep paint test equipment in good working order and within calibration.
Visit sub-contractors in order to verify that they are working in accordance with project specifications.
- To liaise with client inspector for witness/hold points.
- To complete final project documentation in a timely manner.

- Individual risk awareness within job role.

- To complete SHE inspection check lists at sub-contractor locations.

- To liaise with on-site coating sub-contractors and control the quality of their work in accordance with project requirements.

- Arrange & supervise coating procedure test plates at HHL and painting sub-contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Competency Requirements:

- Successful SHE Induction.

- Minimum BGas Level II.

- Experience as a Coating Inspector operating within an offshore/construction environment.

- Communicate in a positive manner with all departmental personnel.

- An understanding of company Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental systems & programmes.

- Planning & Organisational skills that enable the implementation of his duties and the company strategy.

- A working knowledge of national standards e.g. NORSOK M501.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Safety awareness
- Computer Training Courses.

- IFS Production Control System.

- Safety and environmental courses
