The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Contract based in the Daresbury office. The Payroll Administrator will typically be BTEC qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clerical or secretarial support role. Secretarial and non-technical clerical support staff.

As Payroll Administrator your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the preparation and processing of payrolls each month
• Assist in the preparation and input of overtime forms/files
• Data input and verification – based on current legislation and company polices
• Collating information from various sources to interface with the company’s payroll system
• Assist with the preparation and processing of payrolls each month
• Assist in the preparation and input of overtime forms/files
• Assist with the preparation of information for processing via shadow payrolls for internationally mobile employees
• Assist in the preparation of data for implementation of Southern Ireland payroll on SAP
• Ad hoc duties, such as filing etc
• Assist in the preparation and input of overtime forms/files
• Respond to employee queries by phone and email in a confidential manner

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Must have up-to-date working knowledge of PAYE, NIC and Statutory Payment legislation
• Excel knowledge – to intermediate level
• Good organisational and time management experience
• Able to perform well under pressure and can work to strict deadlines
• Good interpersonal communication skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Southern Ireland payroll legislation
• Working knowledge of SAP Payroll
