The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

The Role:
My operator client is looking for Payroll and HRIS Officer to provide our Payroll function and full back-up to the Payroll Advisor. This role will also be required to ensure accurate and up-to-date HRIS SAP data in the system, providing full back-up to the HRIS Advisor, and support the implementation of various HRIS Projects. The role with be based in Perth CBD and will be a two year Fixed Term Contract (FTC) position.


Responsibilities

•Ensuring salaries and wages are distributed accurately and on time.
•Understand and meet all regulatory or business standards requirements.
•Assisting with the preparation, balancing and reconciliation of the following: payroll tax, group tax, PAYG, superannuation, group and workers compensation premiums, income protection reporting and authorized Payroll deductions.
•Maintaining pay records, employee records, leave records and related information.
•Support system enhancements / fix including (but not limited to) input in requirements and UAT.
•Preparing management reports based upon information within the payroll system.
•Resolving/answering queries relating to payroll across the organization.
•Work in concert with HRIS and across HR to ensure data integrity.
•Provide support in processing transactional organizational data and employee master data requests in a timely manner.
•Verifying and maintaining accurate data including seeking clarification where required.
•Assisting with preparation of reports, audit requests as and when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Certificate IV / Diploma of Human Resources or Information Systems, or substantial relevant experience in similar role,
•Professional end-to-end payroll experience desired.
•Professional experience with SAP HR and Payroll modules
•Previous experience with SAP Human Resources modules (OM/PA)
•Exposure to ESS / MSS and an experienced systems practitioner
•Attention to detail / accurate record keeping and report management
•Experience in dealing effectively with payroll audits, establishing system processes and procedures, and development of payroll and other required reports
•Experience in resource industry (or industry with multiple shifts, rotations, FIFO, etc.) is appreciated.
