The Company:
We've been engaged by a globally recognised petrochemical and energy company, seeking to employ an experienced Payroll Clerk / Administrator to assist their in Melbourne based business unit.

The Role:
This role will report into a Payroll Manager with the responsibility of planning and accomplishing set goals within the payroll team. The responsibilities will include handling queries, corrections, controls, auditing and payment submissions for a business unit with over 1500 employees. For this reason, large experience operating a payroll function in a company of similar staff numbers is essential. The role will have key interfaces with the HR and IT team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Diploma in an associated course, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of SAP
- 2 years + experience in a similar operating function
- Existing knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively under supervision, within a team environment
