The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator to lead the payroll function, including processing and managing designated end to end payroll and reports as required. Process and check contractor invoicing. Undertake general HR project work as required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Develop and maintain procedures, processes and work instructions for Payroll function.
•Maintain the Personnel Administration records, procedure and facilities.
•Identify and establish appropriate compliance reporting obligations for invoice management and auditing purposes.
•Assist in the maintenance of invoicing and payroll policies and procedures as required by JSOX.
•Assist in the on boarding of new starters and set up into systems as required.
•Assist in the development of workforce plans and annual budgets as directed.
•Process contractor invoices accurately and to the accounts payable timetable.
•Reconcile invoices to approved terms and conditions in place for contractors.
•Generate appropriate month and year end reports as required by the financial reporting procedures as directed.
•Maintain all invoicing records for audit purposes.
•Process end to end payroll and reports each month.
•Process overseas Inpats payroll each month.
•Assist in SAP HR upgrade projects for payroll and invoice processing.
•Identify and recommend process and system improvements.
•Assist in the development effective administrative systems links between the various Remuneration & Benefits and the HR advisory team for seamless delivery services.
•Foster a 'service culture' within the Remuneration & Benefits Team.
•Develop strong working relationships with line managers.
•Represent the Company professionally as required from time to time.
•Provide leadership and guidance to more junior payroll team members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following Skills and Experience are required for this role:

•Completed or working towards a tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable).
•Experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
•Payroll experience essential.
•Previous experience processing invoicing and accounts payable function (desirable).
•Comprehensive understanding of accounting and compliance processes.
•Accomplished analytical and numeric skills to form financial reports.
•Experience in working with contemporary HR & finance IT systems.
•Experience with SAP highly regarded.
•Highly proficient in excel and word.
•Strong team player with motivation to solve financial issues.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Highly organised, self motivated results orientated person.
