< Overall Project Status and Background >
(1) Status of Project
The project will go into EPC phase around the end of January 2012. Project
Directorate Office and several Satellite Offices located at EPC contractor’s design offices will be organized. Locations of each office will be decided later.

The Role:
< The Roles >
The engineers will work as members of the integrated management team organization and fulfill the specific responsibilities such as engineering
discipline, quality control, schedule control and HSE at Project Directorate Office or each Satellite Offices (EPC contractor’s offices).

< Responsibilities >
(1) Major Duties
- Develop supervising plans for EPC contractor’s activities on PCS/Instrument project scope and lead their proficient execution of relevant areas.
- Review and approve all engineering deliverables related to PCS/Instrument.
- Monitor and report work progress, problems of EPC contractor’s activities and direct corrective action as required.
- Review EPC contractor’s design standards and details as they are provided ensuring the project requirements are satisfied.
- Attend the project meeting and coordinate with other project groups for engineering execution.
- Attend factory acceptance tests to confirm EPC contractor supplied equipment and materials if necessary.
- Support construction and commissioning activities at site.
- Attend functional loop tests to ensure the system functions are met with project requirements.

(2) Relation & Contact
- PCS/Instrument Engineer reports to Division Manager of Satellite Office.
- PCS/Instrument Engineer will contact with Satellite Office team members,
Technical & Project Control Engineer at Project Directorate Office and all other related engineers for PCS/Instrument Activities.
- PCS/Instrument Engineer will contact with EPC Contractor’s persons in-charge for PCS/Instrument activities, consultants, inspectors and all other
parties who support Instrumentation & Control activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
< Education >
Bachelor’s degree in related engineering faculties or an equivalent combination of education is required.

< Experience >
Minimum 7- year experiences of EPC project and relevant PCS/Instrument field are required. Experience of large (over 500 mm USD), complex and multi
process units plant project.

< Knowledge, Skills & Qualification >
Knowledge of PCS/Instrument procedure for process plant.
Knowledge of PCS/Instrument design technologies and international codes and standards.
Knowledge of PCS/Instrument supervision of activities by EPC Contractor.
Comprehensive knowledge of project execution for design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Fluent in English for communication and documentation.
Outstanding leadership, management and communication skills.
Comprehensive computer skill including proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, LAN & shared files, and general IT applications such as document
management system, work flow system etc.
