The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To support the development of the new ERP System and the development of AMPCS


Key Responsibilities & Tasks
AMPCS & PD Process

Support the development of AMPCS (Aston Martin Product Creation System) for application across the whole of Aston Martin to give world class new model development capability.
Continual process development; assist in identifying new process requirements for Product Development & Programme Management.
Issuing minutes and follow up actions for distribution to the team members from meetings as required.
Present process improvement proposals to ERP & AMPCS Project Leader.
Creation of new forms, templates and metric reporting documents associated with AMPCS and PD process requirements.
Assist in creating the training and reference material for use by all departments in new process roll out.
Support training sessions for the roll out of new AMPCS versions and other Process improvements.


ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

Support the development of the ERP project (Microsoft Dynamics AX & TCE).
Support the ERP project leader with testing, implementation, business transition and training for Product Structure, Engineering Change Management and AMPCS work streams.
Assist in creating test plans for User Acceptance Testing of new system.
Assist in collating and identifying data migration requirements for Product Structure, Engineering Change Management and AMPCS work streams as required (e.g. validation of field names in current and for future systems, concern and containment migration).
General administrative support for department as and when required.
Data input to support Go Live preparation of new ERP system.
