The Company:
Our client is one of the worlds largest providers of technical services across a wide range of sectors, including nuclear.

The Role:
Our client is seeking a PDMS Practitioner on a contract basis

Key Responsibilities:

Modelling equipment from vendor / fabrication drawings.
Modelling of steelwork and platforms from 2D design proposal drawings.
Routing of services pipe work.
Space management, including during the removal of existing redundant equipment and installation of new equipment.
Production of drawings including general arrangements (plans, sections & elevations, isometric views), equipment location drawings and fabrication isometrics.
Liaison with discipline engineers and designers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ONC or Diploma, with 5+ years experience in relevant discipline
PDMS user with a minimum of 2+ year’s continuous experience.
CDM awareness.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
PDMS user with specific expertise in pipe work design, equipment modeling, steelwork design, space management, draft and isometric production.
Familiarity with Sellafield design procedures and Technical Standards.
Good understanding of general engineering / design principals.
Technical experience gained from but is not limited to highly regulated process plants.
Experience gained in the nuclear industry is an advantage though not essential.
Ideally 'SC' level clearance but not essential
Experience of FGMSP is beneficial but not essential
