The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. Their clients come to them for a wide range of advice, resources and skills - in engineering, maintaining infrastructure, managing construction, planning and strategic thinking.

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Performance Advisor to work at our client's Manchester office. The role will include the following:

•To work with the Performance Consultants/Manager to develop solutions and deliver key projects required for the effective and efficient performance of Performance Management.
•Provide a professional, solutions-focused front line service to managers and employees

•Promote and encourage a culture that aligns with and actively supports the client's company values.
•Develop and maintain proactive and positive relationships with all key stakeholders within client's and across the wider client Group.
•Understand the importance of corporate governance and ensure consistent measures and standards are applied.
•Ensure high quality and professional delivery, working seamlessly with other People and Organisational Development functions.
•Support senior management teams by understanding the business requirements and identifying appropriate performance solutions
•Providing employee relations support and guidance to Line Managers on people issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and employee performance management
•Working collaboratively with contract management teams to identify key performance trends and designing effective solutions to address them
•Playing a crucial role in the promotion of employee engagement within the region by promoting and supporting internal communication channels including local employee forums
•Coaching and training leaders to equip them with the leadership skills and appropriate behaviours to drive performance and support culture change
•Involvement in the delivery of change management projects including redundancy, restructuring and terms and conditions harmonisation
•Ensuring that all P&OD policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements
•The collation and production of accurate, monthly performance management information
•Supporting the delivery of the People & Organisational Development strategy and sector business plans in order to meet organisational objectives
•Working in conjunction with other P&OD functions including Resourcing, Training and OD

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Solid experience of proactively supporting Line Managers to resolve a range of generalist HR queries
•A strong commercial, business acumen
•The ability to demonstrate a customer focused approach at all times is essential
•Demonstrable experience of influencing stakeholders and building excellent working relationships
•Ability to use MS Office to a proficient level - Word/Excel
•CIPD Qualified or working towards
•Ability to use MS Office - Word/Excel

•UK full driving licence
