The Role:
Key Responsibilities of Role:
•Responsible for the provision of Upstream Segment specific HSE performance Data , on an ad-hoc and periodic basis
•Deliver and assure the data to support Segment Safety & Operational Risk memos for SORCs, EPR, and additional executive outputs.
•Support Segment leadership in the provision and assurance of segment-specific HSE performance data.
•Act as a key contact for the Line and S&OR stakeholders;
•Responsible for providing technical expertise to Segment functions for Safety & Operational Risk Performance Reporting.
•Assure Segment Safety and Operational Risk Performance Reporting
•Responsible for supporting the update and provision of guidance for any Segment Guidance documentation on HSSE Reporting.
•Safety metrics and data, working closely with Personal Safety subject matter experts (“SME”) and equipping them with analysis and insight to support their recommendations and interventions, contributing to the continuous improvement of Personal Safety in BP. The analyst will be instrumental in the design and delivery of the analysis and insight.
•MIView systems support and front end application development.
•Responsible for supporting the update and provision of guidance for any Segment Guidance documentation on HSSE Reporting.

Key Challenges and Complexities of Role in the next 12 months
•Supporting the global deployment of company new Incident Reporting System “IRIS” by working closely with the Project team and helping to represent and drive successful delivery of NFMI requirements.
•Support the expected changing IRIS Operating Model and any impact it may have on organisation structure and role content.
•Help to support S&OR in its transition to this new system solution.
•Successfully deliver on Year End HSE Performance Data reporting commitments – both externally and internally.

Any other relevant Information: (particular reference to planning (nature and impact), scope of impact (Team, BU, Segment, company globally etc) and relationships (internal & external).
•Work closely with colleagues in the S&OR team so as to help further Company Safety Agenda.
•Support the wider S&OR Finance team in the provision of timely and accurate reporting.
•Work with the S&OR Finance team to constantly seek to improve controls and governance over HSE NFMI.

•Deep seated experience in the extraction of and presentation of key data sets and MI in general to a diverse set of stakeholders and customers.
•Strong performance bias and proactive outlook.
Strong organisational skills able to manage multiple tasks and deliver against tight deadlines
•Strong engagement and influencing skills
•Proven ability in using Excel, VBA and Business Objects to an advanced standard.
