The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Performance and Emissions Calibration Engineer.

The candidate must be experienced in the delivery of Diesel Performance and Emissions calibrations. Knowledge of Diesel emissions control technologies. Vehicle and test bed calibration of combustion and air path systems.

Core engine emissions calibration experience (DOE). Knowledge of core Air Path and Combustion control strategies. Working knowledge of powertrain application tools (INCA, Matlab, Concerto, CRETA etc.).

Self motivated and driven personality with excellent analytical skills. Good communication skills and professionalism.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Prior experience within the automotive sector or powertrain research environment (OEM, Tier 1 supplier or Consultancy)
* In-vehicle calibration experience preferred
* Mechanical Engineering degree qualified preferred (or comparable)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of diesel emissions and after treatment systems; current and future emissions legislation, awareness of interactions with whole powertrain sub-systems
