Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES


HR Specialist in the areas of performance and reward, responsible for implementation and process improvements in the areas of performance, reward and grading.

Lead role in development and implementation of Successfactors Compensation Management and Performance and Goals modules. Leads change management, communications and training in rollout to business.

Support of the Leadership and Performance strategic project deliverables including Top Employer strategy.

Works closely with HR Operations, L&D and talent team, Finance, Leadership and Performance steering group, IT and external suppliers.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Leads development and implementation of process improvements to performance management, pay, bonus and grade progression processes.
• Design, development and implementation of improved processes
• Development of new reward concepts
• Provision of professional advice, guidance and coaching to HR Operations and managers on performance and reward topics.
• Supports requests for pay benchmarking for retention / recruitment
• Works with HR Controller on pay analysis/reporting

2. Take a lead role in development and implementation of Compensation management and Performance and Goals Successfactors systems in 2015 - 2017. Leads development and implementation of VW Group Organisation chart software in 2016.
• Defines best practice processes
• Works with external partner/VW to define systems solutions
• Develops and delivers training, communications and change management solutions for rollout
• First contact for HR Operations and Managers in the new systems rollout

3. Support of the Leadership and Performance strategic project deliverables
• Supports implementation of Top Employer strategy, leadership programmes, performance management optimisation and retention strategy

4. Supports Head of HR Strategy, Organisation and Projects and Board Member for HR with VW Group and Bentley presentations preparing high quality presentations and information in a timely manner


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


- Demonstrable HR experience within a fast-moving, pressurised environment.
- Demonstrable experience of performance, compensation and benefits, grading systems required e.g. pay and bonus rounds, job evaluation and grading, grade progression systems.
- Experience in implementing HR IT systems desired
- Ability to work on own initiative with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good project Management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business
- Ability to analyse data, solve problems and use creative thinking to reach appropriate solutions for stakeholders
- Experience in coaching/training others desirable
- Able to think strategically and develop new systems and processes is essential


PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE


- Highly IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of SAP HR / Success Factors HCM system or equivalent is desired
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills required
- Good understanding of UK employment law required


QUALIFICATIONS


- Member of CIPD – Graduate CIPD desired
- Degree qualification or equivalent required (ideally in Business, Economics or IT)
- Hay trained job evaluator or equivalent would be advantageous
