The Company:

The Role:
Permit to Work Custodian manage the Risks of hazardous work and communication to all permit requesters, issuers and holders the PTW system requirements. Provide assurance that these requirements are being consistently met
HSE focal point – provide assurance that the control framework requirements directly applicable to offshore activities are implemented and effective.

•HSSE: To act at all times in accordance with the Policy on Health, Safety and Environment and execute all maintenance activities accordingly. Ensure competence of Shell and Contractor staffs meet the requirements and are familiar with HSSE requirements.
-Responsible for managing, routinely auditing and working to remove/mothball Extended Period Isolations
-Facilitate and manage PtW audits, including “Routine Procedures” review, Level 1 – 4 audits
-Actively seek and promote own suggestions for improvement to OIM and Area Authorities
-Lead initial incident investigation into PtW related failures (e.g. 5 whys)
-Ordering and procurement of PtW based equipment (lock out boxes,
-Management of master line break register for major equipment workscopes (e.g. turbine overhaul, TAR)
-Facilitate development of leak test packs for major equipment workscopes (e.g. turbine overhaul, TAR)
-Support the OIM in management of the HSE management plan
-Conduct site induction for new personnel
-Lead weekly safety meeting
-Promote health, safety and environment improvements
-Lead a daily STOP tour
-Share facility risk review with offshore team and encourage submission of new risks
-Incident investigation
-Fountain action management
-Radiation focal point

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Basic understanding of work management system
•Competent to stand in as, at a minimum, a Production Technician when required
•Authorised Person: Able to perform simple electrical isolations
•Fountain use
•Knowledge of HSE Management system manual
•Understanding of the HSSE & SP management system manual – with focus on Permit to work, incident investigation, management of change, assurance , Health Manual and Personal Safety Manual
